Q: Do you charge a fee for this service?

A: You can rest assured that we do not charge any fees for this service. The quote you receive is the amount you will pay.

Q: How can you save me money?

A: As your booking agent, Discount Florida Car Rental will request quotes from our affiliated car rental companies. These quotes will factor in information you provide on our Reservation page. We are able to offer low, corporate rates, not offered to individual renters, nor available through most other booking agencies. Our goal is to see that you rent the right car at the best possible price.

Q: What is "Lowest Rate"?

A: It's our way of simplifying your online rental experience. When you choose our "Lowest Rate" option on the Form Intro page, we'll submit your rental request to our five rental companies and then select the company that offers you the most affordable car.

Q: What's different about the cars you rent?

A: The corporate price discount we offer you is unique. The vehicles are the same shiny ones the rental company makes available, at a higher price, to their other customers.

Q: Can I request the color of my vehicle?

A: You'll find that option near the bottom of our form page in the "Comments and Requests" box. All requests will be honored to the best of your rental company's abilities.

Q: Must I fill out a new form for each car I'm renting during my stay in Florida?

A: Not at this site! Whether you need several cars at one location, or plan to visit multiple cities or travel destinations, we ask you to fill out only one form. To add additional vehicles, click the "Rent an Additional Vehicle" button after filling out the first form and your information will automatically be forwarded to the next request form.

Q: Do young drivers pay more to rent a car?

A: Yes. Car rental companies require that all drivers must be 21 years of age, or older. "Young drivers" fall between the ages of 21 and 25. All rental car companies charge extra to cover higher liability.

Q: Can I add additional drivers without paying more?

A: Unfortunately not. There is a nominal fee for each additional driver. Let us know about your other drivers on our reservation form, so we can book your rental with a company that offers the best rate for extra drivers.

Q: Why aren't the taxes and any additional fees (government fees or taxes) included in the posted rates?

A: We post the Basic Rates common to all locations. Taxes can vary by location and certain taxes are location specific and therefore can't be included. The general formula for calculating taxes is at the bottom of the Basic Rate table.

Q: Is my online reservation guaranteed?

A: Yes! Although we require no deposit or credit information, your reservation is guaranteed. Once booked, your email reservation confirmation will arrive shortly.
